Union des Grands Crus des Bordeaux
Bordeaux
Associations and Clubs
The Union of Grands Crus of Bordeaux is an association of 132 Grand Crus châteaux keeping the same high standards of quality. These chateaux are located only in the finest appellations of the Gironde department: Médoc, Haut-Médoc, Saint-Estèphe, Pauillac, Saint-Julien, Margaux, Moulis, Listrac, Graves, Pessac-Léognan, Sauternes, Barsac, Saint-Emilion, and Pomerol.
The producers and managers of these fine Grand Crus Wines, as members of the UGCB and ambassadors of the centuries of culture behind the wine, travel the world to personally present recent vintages to media, local importers, distributors and wine enthusiasts. Women and men alike, in this select group of wine growers, play a strategic role making the Grand Crus the best known wines in the world. Travelers and wine lovers are encouraged to visit the UGCB web site to learn about special events and as a map to the Grand Crus. You can plan a whole holiday around a UGCB wine tasting, châteaux visiting, golfing weekend and taste the wines of 100 Grand Crus châteaux!
