Description

Explore the vineyard of Bordeaux in a Citroën 2CV. Comfortably seated in the back seat of the 2CV, you will enjoy a unique experience to discover the vineyard in a different way. Your chauffeur will tell you the rich history of both the vineyard and its chateaux, leaving no secrets for you. You can choose according to your wishes to explore the Médoc region, located in the North of Bordeaux, the Pessac-Léognan region at the South of Bordeaux, or the historical Saint-Emilion village The visits include wine tastings at two prestigious chateaux (one classified growth chateau and a family-run estate). For the Médoc private wine tour option, you will visit a grand cru classé from 1855 and a family estate. Each château will offer you the opportunity to taste between 2 and 3 of their wines. Between the two visits, your chauffeur will take the time to show you the well-known 'route des châteaux', the village of Margaux as well as the world-famous Château Margaux. For the Pessac-Léognan private wine tour option, you will visit two classified wineries. Each château will offer you the opportunity to taste between 2 and 3 of their wines. Between the two visits, your chauffeur will take the time to show you the Prieuré de Cayac, a step place for the pilgrims of Santiago de Compostela, the beautiful Pessac-Léognan wines road and the famous château Smith Haut-Lafitte. For the Saint-Emilion private wine tour option, you will visit one classified winery. The château will offer you the opportunity to taste between 2 and 3 of their wines. Your chauffeur will also make you discover the village of Saint-Emilion on foot for about an hour. You will have a lunch in a nice restaurant located middle of the vineyard. During your tour in this historical city, you will stop at a macaroon producer for a tasting. Macaroons are the second specialty of Saint-Emilion after wine. At the end of this walking tour, you will get back on your 2CV and your driver will lead you on small roads offering a unique panorama on Saint-Emilion and its châteaux.
