The Basque Country is a picturesque and historically rich region of France, and there is so much to see and do that it can be difficult to plan everything on your own. But with our private tour, you can relax and enjoy the scenery while visiting for example three historic towns - Biarritz, Espelette and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Our tour departs from downtown Bordeaux, where you will be picked up by a professional driver and driven safely through the Basque region. During the trip, you will enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the Atlantic coast and the surrounding mountains. We will cross the Landes and its pine forest to arrive at the first town we will visit, Espelette, a picturesque village famous for its sweet peppers. You will be able to walk through the cobbled streets and admire the traditional half-timbered houses and facades covered with chillies, as well as visit the local stores to taste unique culinary specialties. Next, we will visit Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, a medieval town located on the way to Santiago de Compostela. You can explore the narrow streets and historic buildings, and if you wish, visit the citadel that dominates the city. You can find the perfect place to enjoy lunch. Finally, we will arrive in Biarritz, a charming seaside resort known for its sandy beaches and beautiful architecture.
