Description

The Garonne River, serving as the backbone of Bordeaux, divides the city into two contrasting territories. On the left bank lies a monumental area steeped in history and urban charm. Meanwhile, the right bank presents a natural, even wild, landscape. Annexed to the city in 1865, it bore witness to Bordeaux's former industrialization and now hosts the metropolis' new urban redevelopment programs initiated in the 2000s.
